Portable Planetarium
A portable Starlab Planetarium is available, by arrangement, for groups of up to 25 people per session. The Planetarium gives you darkness in the daytime, simulating the appearance of the stars at night. You will observe the apparent movement of the stars due to the spin of the Earth and our movement around the Sun. Presentations can be tailored to the interests and age of your groups.
The Planetarium may be operated on-campus or may be transported to schools or other venues. The minimum floor space required is 6.3 by 5.5 metres with ceiling clearance of 3.2 metres. The system plugs into a mains power point. A school hall or gymnasium is suitable.
Prices vary according to location of venue, number and duration of sessions.
